During the course of managing our client’s businesses, we always keep in mind the right match for business succession. Successors chosen genetically may not be the best fit for the future of the business. We often hold generic discussions with our clients about their vision and future plans for their business, and building management team that can take over the business to the next level. We have been through several situations where the son or the daughter were more deserving candidates than the parents in managing business; and in some other cases; the second generation was a misfit or they were not interested in taking over the business.
Timely strategy always helps put things in perspective and expands response-ability.
